Sustainability

Our brand is in love with nature and we care deeply about the connection we make with it. That's why we have embarked on the journey towards 100% sustainability.

We are almost entirely there. Our fabrics are mostly natural fabrics, such as cotton, linen, silk, and mostly fabric scraps that would otherwise go to waste. All our packaging is also 100% recyclable.

Our kimonos are statement pieces that can be very versatile, and they are all produced in limited edition. Each kimono is handmade by the owner or by local artisans in Romania. Our goal is to reach out to unemployed communities and local artisans from all over the country and thus help develop jobs for people who need them.

Our kimonos are part of a circular design, meaning we either take recycled fabrics, or dead waste fabrics and we create limited edition collections in an effort to bring forward responsible slow fashion.

We are part of nature and we take our commitment serious. We hope you will join us in this journey together!

Oh Kimono is also regularly supporting Coral Gardeners, a coral reef restoration & conservation program located in Tahiti French Polynesia. We are also looking at the moment into supporting a local Romanian NGO/Association that deals with reforestation.
